This study aims to develop teaching materials for fairy tale texts developed from the Indonesian language material of thematic books for class III Theme 2 Subtheme 3 Love Plants in the form of printed fairy tale books. The method used in this study is the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. This study was conducted in class III students of SD Negeri 008 Palembang. The study was conducted using observation, documentation, test, and questionnaire methods. The results sought in this study were valid and practical. Valid results were obtained from validation carried out by 3 validators with a score of 85% with very valid criteria. While the practical results were calculated from the average number of student questionnaires with a score of 82% with very practical criteria. From the results above, the teaching materials that have been developed can be used in the learning process and help teachers and students to achieve learning objectives.
