Primary school students are in the concrete operation stage, where they can understand abstract concepts through concrete objects. RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) is a learning model based on a realistic approach. The objective of this research is to determine the impact of the Real Mathematics Education (RME) model, which is based on concrete means, on the mathematics education outcomes of primary school students in the second grade. The study uses quantitative research in the form of real research with a control group design only after the examination. Class II students at SD Negeri 139 in Palembang were the research population, with research objects as Class II. Students in class B as the experimental class and students in class II.C as the control class. hypothesis test uses the independent sampling t test. According to the data analysis, it seems that RME is a very effective mathematics education model.
