Abstract

The development of minimum literacy reading competency assessment questions level 4 using the wizer.me application at SMP Negeri 41 Palembang aims to; (1) describe the needs of educators and students; (2) design a product in the form of minimum literacy reading competency assessment questions level 4 using the wizer.me application; (3) describe the feasibility of the product according to experts; (4) describe the results of validity and reliability; and (5) describe the results of item analysis. The research and development method used is the Borg and Gall and Djiwandono combination research and development method. The validation test was carried out by experts consisting of educator and student needs questionnaire experts, question/evaluation experts, material experts, and language experts. The results of the validation of the educator questionnaire aspect obtained a percentage value of 95%, the results of the validation of the student questionnaire aspect obtained a percentage value of 100%. Then, the results of the validation of the question aspect percentage value 92.30%. The results of the validation of the material aspect percentage value 96.42%. The results of the validation of the language aspect percentage value 97.5%. The validity of the multiple choice questions 0.69 high interpretation. Validity of essay questions 0.88 very high interpretation. Validity of short answer questions 0.60 high interpretation. Validity of complex multiple choice questions 0.77 high interpretation. Validity of matching questions 0.71 high interpretation. In the analysis of item validity, 50 questions were declared valid. In the analysis of multiple choice reliability 0.82 high category. Essay reliability 0.93 very high category. Reliability of short answer 0.75 high category. Reliability of complex multiple choice 0.87 high category. Reliability of matching 0.83 high category. The results of the item analysis showed that 50 questions had a moderate level of difficulty. Based on the results of the analysis of discriminatory power and distractor quality, there were no questions with options that needed to be improved.
