Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Pada Materi Statistika

The low mathematics learning outcomes of students are caused by the lecture method used by teachers in learning, making students feel bored and sleepy. This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class X.11 students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang on statistics material through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subjects in this study were class X.11 students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang totaling 45 students with 19 male students and 26 female students. The data collection technique in this study used a written test technique. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis showed that student learning outcomes increased from 57.78% in cycle I to 84.45% in cycle II. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class X.11 students of SMA Negeri 2 Palembang on statistics material.
